We have added a few extra shopping hours between now and Christmas.
Friday, December 16, Saturday, December 17, and Friday, December 23 we will be open from 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM. The rest of the days we will be open from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM and from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM on Saturday, December 24. We will remain closed on Sundays and Mondays.
With Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years all approaching quickly, we have modified our hours for November and December.
November: Tuesday – Saturday 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM with the following exceptions: CLOSED 11/24 for Thanksgiving; Open 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM Friday and Saturday, 11/25 & 26 during the Tree Lighting and Christkindlmarkt.
December: Tuesday – Saturday 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM with the following exceptions: Open 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM Friday & Saturday 12/2, 3, 9, & 10; Open 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM 12/24 & 12/31.
We will remain closed on Sundays and Mondays.
This time of year we all spend time acknowledging those people/things we are thankful for. We want to say that we are forever thankful for our parents, Connie & Bill who not only provided us with a very loving family life growing up, but also for following their dream and moving to Pendleton to start The Mercantile. We are also thankful for our Mercantile family and friends, you make going to work a joy. Yes, many of you are like family to us and we appreciate that.
We wish you all very happy and healthy holidays now and throughout the coming new year.

To start our 34th Anniversary Celebration we have 2 (yes TWO!) contests available for you.
The younger crowd can have their chance at naming the new Friends we will be adding to our website soon. All of the rules are on the entry form shown here. Feel free to print one (or more) off to enter.
The older (slightly 
) crowd has the opportunity to do some creative things with the Friends Terri has created specifically for The Mercantile. Again, the rules are on the entry form.

On Friday, July 1, 2022 we will begin opening at 10:30 AM Tuesday through Friday. Our closing time will remain at 5:00 PM. Our Saturday hours will stay 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. We will remain closed on both Sunday & Monday.
We are finished with our inventory and are back open our regular hours.
Terri will be going to Market next weekend to find all sorts of new and wonderful things for the store (our friend Suzanne will be helping Cindy in the store).
We hope to get our classes back onto the calendar the end of January or beginning of February.
Thank you all for being a part of our lives, we appreciate every one of you.
We are in our busiest season of the year for shoppers.
Classes are still on our minds and in our hearts, but we cannot schedule anything new until late January. Once Christmas is done, we have Inventory and Terri will be going to Market in mid-January.
Thank you for understanding that we need our few minutes/hours of down-time to refresh ourselves for the next day.

Starting Thanksgiving week, The Mercantile will be open Tuesday – Thursday from 11 – 5, Friday from 11 – 8, and Saturday from 10 – 8. This is in conjunction with the Pendleton Christkindlmarkt that will be out on the village green Friday and Saturday evenings for the first 3 weekends after Thanksgiving. The last weekend prior to Christmas, our closing hour will return to 5:00. Christmas Eve we will close at 4:00. We will be closed Christmas day and re-open Tuesday, December 28. We will close at 3:00 New Years Eve and, after doing inventory, we will re-open Friday, January 7, 2022.
Starting tomorrow, October 23, 2021, we will open at 10:00 AM on Saturdays, closing at 5:00 PM. Tuesdays through Fridays we will remain opening at 11:00 AM and closing at 5:00 PM.
